Employee spotlight:
Felicity Wainwright

Sydney-based Felicity Wainwright, Senior Sales Manager, talks about helping to launch a business in Australia, her interest in adtech, and her life outside of work.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
Prior to LoopMe, I was working at JCDecaux, where I became more and more interested in programmatic out-of-home (OOH). It made me realise I wanted to work on the digital and technology side of advertising, so when the role at LoopMe popped up and I had the chance to not only move into tech, but help launch a business in Australia, I jumped at the opportunity.

Why did you decide to work in this industry?
Honestly, I moved into advertising because I was working in the NGO space previously and was looking to find a more stable job. I started working at Dentsu as an Exec and I remember being told that I would spend 80% of my day in Excel. I love Excel so I was very excited by that. On my first day I was given a swipe card to enter the building (rather than a single, silver key) and saw the amount of Milo I could have (for free!) and my decision was finalised.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m 34 years old, I live by the ocean in Sydney with my partner Harrison. I adore dogs, although I don’t have one myself, and I prefer early mornings to late nights. I’m extremely curious and love having conversations about the meaning of life or anything else equally existential.

Do you have any hobbies?
Yes, I have tons. I love to read (anything psychology-related), to run, I travel whenever possible, and I’m currently writing a book.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
This is an answer that constantly changes. Right now, Costa Rica because I’m learning Spanish and have recently learnt how to surf.

Employee spotlight:
Jessica Leader

Jessica Leader, Senior Account Manager for LoopMe’s AMP Audience & Measurement Platform, features in LoopMe’s employee spotlight series.

Why did you decide to work in this industry?
I chose to work in the adtech industry because I saw an opportunity to couple my passion for technology with my interest in understanding human behavior and the ways our favorite brands connect with consumers. This industry is constantly adapting, and I excel in environments where growth is essential. I am always looking to learn about new trends in AI and machine learning. This is an exciting moment in adtech, and it is fascinating to be in a position to participate in the advancement of brand measurement, and helping brands understand the significance of their campaigns.

What motivates you to come to work?
I am motivated by the projects I’m working on with my team. I also enjoy working with my clients and being a resource for them. Client satisfaction is important to me, and I have been lucky enough to work with some tremendously talented clients who are also valuable partners. When I started, we were introducing our self-serve brand measurement platform to clients and the broader team. Working collaboratively with clients has been an honor, and I am pleased to watch how they have grown and become deeply invested in using our self-serve platform.

Do you have any WFH routines or rituals?
I have developed some routines and rituals for working from home that help keep me grounded and focused. There is a dedicated workspace to keep a division between my home and work and ensure optimal productivity. There is also a separate space where I will take meetings. Creating these routines and boundaries when working from home is essential to working effectively and efficiently. I stretch and try to take moments to walk around a bit. I also create a list of tasks at the end of each workday to ensure that I am set up for success the following day.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I grew up in Massachusetts. Growing up I loved being in nature, and enjoyed being in my backyard drawing different plants, and writing short stories. On Sundays, I enjoy catching up on my favorite sports teams. Another passion of mine is pottery. I currently live with my partner in the Hudson Valley. My partner and I collect records, and will listen to a record each day. I enjoy a strong cappuccino.

Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy watching hockey and football. I also paint the pottery I make. My partner and I enjoy listening to comedy podcasts.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
I would still live in New York, because I love New York. My mom is from upstate, so I have a lot of memories here.

Employee spotlight:
Oleksandr Chornomaz

Engineering Director Oleksandr Chornomaz, based in Krakow, offers an insight into his professional motivations as well as his life outside of work in the latest of LoopMe’s employee spotlights.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
I’ve always wanted to work at a startup, and when I joined back in 2016, the company still had a very dynamic and flexible management style. There were no strictly defined roles – everyone contributed in any way they could, based on their skills and abilities. I really resonated with that approach. I was deeply passionate about my work and grew alongside the company. Back then, we had a small team of developers working together in an open space, where we could freely exchange ideas. Some of the best concepts emerged from those discussions, even from heated but productive debates.

What project or event has been your favourite to work on at LoopMe?
Over nearly nine years at LoopMe, I’ve had the opportunity to work on almost every major engineering project within the company – from our core product at the time, the DSP, to our first SDK integrations, and even in the Data Science team. However, my favourite project has to be the Intelligent Marketplace. It serves as the backbone that connects all our products into a unified ecosystem – essentially the heart of the company, where speed meets innovation.

Can you discuss a skill you’ve acquired or developed while working at LoopMe?
When I joined LoopMe, my background was primarily in networking and server administration. However, my true aspiration was to become a software developer. In a way, I started from scratch, despite having already spent seven years in IT as a Network Engineer and DevOps specialist. At LoopMe, I honed my programming skills and, over time, expanded into management, business strategy, and product development. Learning to look beyond just the technical aspects and build products that drive revenue has been incredibly motivating for me.

Tell us a bit about yourself
I come from a small town near Dnipro called Pidhorodne. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by technology – I always wanted to understand how things work. As a kid, I would take apart all my electronic toys, though not all of them made it back to their original state! My interest in IT started back in school. I kept up with the latest tech news, built computers for myself and my friends simply because I enjoyed it. Over time, this curiosity evolved into a passion, ultimately shaping my career into what it is today.

Do you have any hobbies?
Throughout my life, I’ve had a variety of hobbies, from folk dancing to basketball. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and I love trying new activities. In school, I was the captain of my basketball team and even envisioned a future in professional leagues, but IT eventually won me over. More recently, when I lived in Cyprus for a year and a half, I took up rowing – a fascinating and highly disciplined sport. At the moment, I stay active by regularly working out at the gym, keeping in shape for any new sport I might want to try in the future.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
I don’t have a specific location in mind, but my ideal place would be somewhere close to mountains, the sea, or the ocean. I value being able to retreat into nature from time to time, to recharge and spend quality moments with loved ones—whether in the forest, the mountains, or on the water. At the same time, I want to live in a place that is technologically advanced, with strong opportunities for growth and surrounded by inspiring people. I’m still searching for my dream city, but I’m confident I’ll find it someday!

Employee spotlight:
Craig Baillie

Craig Baillie, Team Lead for EMEA Account Management based in London, features in LoopMe’s employee spotlight series.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
Years ago, I was agency side over at Dentsu, where Neil (now our VP Sales EMEA) used to sell into the accounts I worked closely across. I was quite aware of LoopMe’s PurchaseLoop product suite, with this being completely unique in market and a massive USP/deciding factor in me wanting to join the company, looking to direct my career down the account management pathway. These interests, as well as the AI capabilities LoopMe offered and fast-growth culture really attracted me during the recruitment process.

What motivates you to come to work?
The people I work with hands down. The way we work collaboratively – internally across a multi-faceted layer of teams, all working to achieve certain goals and deliver value is the biggest motivational factor, as well as externally with the client relationships we nurture. There are extremely hard-working, committed and talented people working within LoopMe, and I really value being able to work with and learn from them every day.

Can you discuss a skill you’ve acquired or developed while working at LoopMe?
Cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with a number of different teams across the organisation, honing ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies for our clients. Account management across various client projects, learning to prioritise tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality servicing standards in a fast-paced and dynamic industry which is constantly changing. Each day is different and I’m always learning something new!

Do you have any hobbies?
I love my sport! I still manage to play hockey and football competitively over the weekends, and I’m also a winter sports enthusiast, hiker a fair-weather golfer! I love to travel – always wanting to visit new places and tick off cities/countries I have never been to before to experience different cultures and foods.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
I was lucky enough to spend some time in South Africa (specifically Cape Town) last year for a few weeks. Incredible place and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The backdrop is surreal and one of the best places I have ever hiked for scenery. The people are so hospitable, with the food and wine also being out of this world good! I will be back…

If you could invite any public figure to dinner, who would you choose and why?
A rogue one…but Bob Mortimer. If ever fancied a laugh over dinner concerning irrelevant topics and extravagantly made-up stories, he would be my choice. Do read his novels if you get the chance…it’s a lot of nonsense but feel-good reading.

Employee spotlight:
Solomon Gezari

Solomon Gezari, a Sales Director for LoopMe’s AMP Audience & Measurement Platform, features in LoopMe’s employee spotlight series.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
Back when I was but a young sales lad at Nielsen, I dreamed of working at a cool ad tech startup one day. But I didn’t quite know how I was going to make that happen since my sales experience was quite research/measurement-focused and perhaps not-quite-digital-enough. After working at a number of great companies in the research industry, some downright digital-ish, I got a call from my former cubicle-mate Rob Cukierman who had the perfect opportunity for me: to be a part of a new measurement business within a cool ad tech startup! This was my big moment and the rest is history.

What project or event has been your favourite to work on at LoopMe?
I’ve had the great privilege of being part of the early stages of LoopMe’s Audience and Measurement Platform (AMP) and seeing our capabilities, impact, and team grow exponentially over the last few years. This product can do a lot of downright cool stuff across so many different use cases and we’re truly just getting started. I think we are positioned to make as big of an impact in the research business as we are already making in the ad business. You heard it here. Check back with me in 5 years when the dust settles.

What motivates you to come to work?
One time I didn’t feel like coming to work. I was tired and was feeling sorry for myself. Then I got an early-morning Slack from a colleague in Dnipro who is smarter and better looking than me (there’s a few of them so you’ll never know who I’m talking about). This individual has never once uttered a cynical or pessimistic word so long as I’ve known them despite having every excuse to do so (see news headlines). Then I remembered that I’m a part of a global team of all-stars who deserve nothing short of my best effort every day. From Dnipro to Singapore to San Francisco to London, the sun never sets on the hard-working geniuses of LoopMe!

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I live in Brooklyn, NY with my wife and daughters (3.5y and 5m). They are extremely cute and fun. When I’m not slinging data products, I’m going toe-to-toe with our toddler or wiping drool from our infant’s smiling face. In my free time, I love to go on runs in Prospect Park, make too much of one dish, save hot new restaurants on Google Maps, and go to the symphony at Lincoln Center.

What has been your greatest achievement in the last year?
Welcoming our new baby daughter over the summer.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
I would still live in New York City, but with a slight tweak: I would make a change to the amount of money that I have in my bank account, insofar as I would have it increase by an exponential amount, and then I would use those additional funds to acquire a highly capacious dwelling, tastefully adorned, in which my family would reside and from which we would venture out to explore the 7 continents.

Employee spotlight:
Katarzyna Lacny

LoopMe’s Katarzyna Lacny, an Accountant based in Krakow, features in the latest of LoopMe’s employee spotlights.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
I was drawn to LoopMe because it offered the chance to make a real impact. Unlike a large corporation, LoopMe provides a close-knit environment where everyone has the opportunity to connect and collaborate. I was excited to join a company where I could contribute my skills and ideas meaningfully, and get to know my colleagues on a personal level. I knew that I would have the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects, and to learn from some of the best and brightest minds in the industry.

What project or event has been your favourite to work on at LoopMe?
That’s easy – payroll! It might not sound glamorous, but there’s something so satisfying about making sure everyone gets paid the right amount and on time. Knowing I play a part in keeping my colleagues happy and financially secure is a really good feeling.

What motivates you to come to work?
It’s definitely the people! We have such a great team at LoopMe. Everyone is so friendly, supportive, and technically skilled. The atmosphere in the office is fantastic, and it’s always a pleasure to come in, grab a coffee, and catch up with everyone. Plus, being surrounded by such talented people makes it so much easier to collaborate and get things done.

Tell us about yourself.
I’m a pretty family-oriented person. I have two amazing kids who keep me on my toes! My favourite thing to do after work is spend time with them, whether we’re going for walks, playing football, or just hanging out at home. It’s the perfect way to unwind and recharge after a busy day. I love seeing the world through their eyes – it keeps things fun and interesting.

Do you have any hobbies?
Absolutely! I’m a big motoring enthusiast – anything with an engine gets me excited! I love the feeling of freedom and control that comes with driving, and I’m always up for a road trip. Whether it’s a classic car, a sporty number, or just a reliable daily driver, I appreciate them all. There’s just something about the mechanics and the open road that I find truly fascinating. But my interests don’t stop there. I’m also really into interior design. Creating beautiful yet functional spaces is something I find really rewarding, and I’m always on the lookout for new ideas and inspiration.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
I dream of escaping the Polish winters, so somewhere warm and sunny would be ideal. Maybe a beautiful Spanish coastal town, or a charming Italian village by the sea, with amazing food and a more relaxed pace of life. Or maybe even a tropical island! The idea of year-round sunshine and escaping the cold really appeals to me.

Employee spotlight:
Eric Wee

Eric Wee, a PurchaseLoop Sales Executive based in Singapore, offers an insight into his motivations, achievements, and more.

Why did you decide to work in this industry?
Before joining LoopMe, I spent over 10 years in hotel sales. I always felt I had a creative side that wasn’t being fully tapped into. When I came across the Google Digital Marketing Program, I was instantly hooked. I made a bold move, shifting into digital advertising at the peak of my hotel career and it turns out to be the best decision ever! This industry constantly challenges me to think creatively, which I absolutely love. Never a dull day at work, and the ‘dynamism’ is what fuels my passion for what I do.

What project or event has been your favourite to work on at LoopMe?
Definitely has to be building two entirely new portfolios from ground zero — GroupM and independent agencies. From the ground up with zero contacts, I’ve worked to establish and grow these partnerships, introducing our AI-driven solutions to new clients and seeing firsthand how our work makes an impact for their brands. It’s been incredibly rewarding to grow these relationships and drive success for both our team and our partners! I’m so grateful for all the clients who believed in LoopMe and in me, and I’m 100% committed to continuing this great work moving forward!

What motivates you to come to work?
The opportunity to work with a diverse range of brands, each with their unique goals and challenges every day. The excitement and adrenaline of being creative and staying on top of trends and global events is incredibly satisfying. I’m also thankful to be part of LoopMe, where I get to work with such an amazing team that I truly appreciate. The supportive culture makes it feel like we’re all in this together, and the genuine relationships we’ve built are something I truly cherish.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born and raised in Singapore, and here’s a fun fact about me: I absolutely love food — like, really love it! Whenever I enjoy a great meal, you’ll see me beaming with joy. But if the meal isn’t up to scratch, I can’t hide it on my face. I’m always radiating good vibes and enjoying the company of others while soaking in all the wonderful experiences the world has to offer. Sometimes, I find myself standing next to a building, admiring its beauty, or pausing on the street to take in the vibrant culture and atmosphere around me.

What has been your greatest achievement in the last year?
Professionally, I had a really strong Q3, hitting all my targets and finally got my key accounts where I wanted them to be, working with brilliant brands such as UOB, Grab and Beam Suntory. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my hard work finally pay off. On a personal note, I’ve just bought my first home! It’s a cozy three-room HDB located in the vibrant neighborhood of Punggol. Just two years ago, I never would have imagined owning my own place so soon, but this has truly become my biggest achievement to date.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
Definitely Singapore! We’re famous for being a food haven, with all kinds of cuisines from around the globe. As a huge foodie, you know how much that excites me. But if it were possible to choose somewhere out of this world, I’d love to live on another planet — perhaps Mars? The thought of exploring a completely new world and perhaps meeting other lifeforms is just fascinating. It would be an incredible adventure to experience the unknown and see where it takes me!

Employee spotlight:
Will White

Will White, a Talent Partner based in London, features in the latest of LoopMe’s employee spotlights.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
Before joining LoopMe, I knew I wanted to be part of a business that is going through immense growth. The prospect of being tasked with establishing a brand-new tech hub in Poland from day one was very exciting to me. Looking back after two years in the role, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see that office grow and succeed.

Why did you decide to work in this industry?
I had no idea what adtech was before I joined LoopMe, but since day one it’s completely blown me away. The industry is rapidly evolving and expanding, offering numerous opportunities for career advancement and personal development too.

What motivates you to come to work?
I love the social aspect of Talent Partnering – every day there’s a new challenge and the team I have around me help push me to my full potential. I get to work with colleagues from across the world on number-one priority roles that have led to the innovation of some really exciting new areas in the business such as CTV.

Tell us a bit about yourself?
I grew up in Crystal Palace in South London. Something people may not know about me is that my first language is Portuguese, although the moustache might be a giveaway. I have a huge passion for travel – I’m currently trying to tick off having visited 30 different countries by the time I’m 30 (I have 8 more countries and 2 more years). I also love photography and spend most weekends getting out and about taking pictures.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
As my entire extended family lives in Lisbon, Portugal has always been at the top of my list. The sunny weather would beat living in London.

What has been your greatest achievement in the last year?
It’s hard to pinpoint one specific achievement I am most proud of, but winning the Looper of the Year award felt like all the hard work paid off. I’m also really proud of the fact that I’ve been able to work with every department and team in one capacity or another. Last but not least I’m proud that I’m usually the last one standing at team socials.

Employee spotlight:
Nastia Shchepetkova

As part of LoopMe’s Ukraine Support Month, August’s employee spotlights feature Ukrainian employees, who tell us more about themselves and share their experiences of life in Ukraine since February 2022.

What is your role at LoopMe?
I have just started a new role as a Programmatic Account Manager. Before that I was a Campaign Manager for three years.

How has your experience at LoopMe been throughout your time here overall, and especially with everything going on?
From my first day at LoopMe, I could see how talented and technically skilled everyone was. Now I know that my colleagues are not only talented but they are also as brave and strong as Ukraine! For me, LoopMe is one of the companies that has really stepped up to support its Ukrainian employees. We really appreciate it, especially during these tough times.

How has the war on Ukraine affected your work life / role / time in the office?
Work-life balance has turned into a war/work-life balance. I honestly love coming into the office every day because of the amazing people and atmosphere we have created here. It’s like a second home to me.

How have these almost 1000 days of full-scale invasion changed you?
It has fully changed me. My dad joined the army and became a defender. It’s now my turn to step up and support my family, especially my mom. I have learned about different types of rockets and how to distinguish the sounds of defense rockets. I have also improved my skills in tactical medicine and faced some mental health challenges, which I’m working through. Most importantly, I’ve learned how to be an independent person.

How has the war impacted aspects of daily life that people may take for granted?
I know it’s hard to imagine that we see rockets in the sky, and hear explosions day and night. After tough nights we wake up, have a cup of coffee, and go to the office (tired and sleepy but with a smile). Unfortunately, this is our reality now and it’s what we have adapted to.

Where do you find strength and inspiration in today’s Ukraine?
I find strength and inspiration in my family and everyday support network. Hanging out with my dog, who can be a bit crazy at times, is always a mood booster! Reading books and keeping up with my running routine has helped me stay motivated and balanced.

What’s the first thing you will do once the war is over?
Make some of my parents’ dreams come true. Hopefully, it will be soon.

What would you like your fellow Loopers to understand?
Every Ukrainian wants to be supported on a daily basis. Simple questions – like “How are you?” or “Are you safe?” – are important, not just because it’s polite to ask but because they give us a sense of support and understanding. It is a very tough time for all Ukrainians because we are defending our independence. Come to Ukraine and you’ll see how beautiful our country is.

Kateryna Aleksakha

As part of LoopMe’s Ukraine Support Month, August’s employee spotlights feature Ukrainian employees, who tell us more about themselves and share their experiences of life in Ukraine since February 2022.

What is your role at LoopMe?
Team Lead, Campaign Management

How has your experience at LoopMe been throughout your time here overall, and especially with everything going on?
I started working at LoopMe right before the pandemic hit, and have been working here throughout the invasion. During these hard times, I’ve felt supported by my colleagues and the organization. The company has provided me with everything I need to get through these difficult times. I’m glad to be a part of LoopMe.

How has the war in Ukraine affected your work life / role / time in the office?
The war in Ukraine has certainly impacted our work-life balance. I moved from the war zone of Dnipro to Lviv, but now even that is unsafe. There are countless sleepless, stressful nights because of air raid alerts and shelling, but work has been a helpful distraction.

How have these almost 1000 days of full-scale invasion changed you?
I feel strong and resistant to stress but still battle with feeling anxious.

How has the war impacted aspects of daily life that people may take for granted?
The air alerts come randomly in the middle of the day or night where you have to drop everything and find shelter. Everything in the town shuts down during that time and there is a curfew every night. There are constant power outages, so you have to often leave where you are so find somewhere safe to stay. Your schedule is always adapting to the surroundings and circumstances.

Where do you find strength and inspiration in today’s Ukraine?
I find strength and inspiration in our defenders, volunteers and those who donate to support.

What’s the first thing you’ll do once the war is over?
I will visit all my family and friends.

What would you like your fellow Loopers to understand?
Sometimes Ukrainians can be reluctant to share how we’re feeling, and we are often tired – but we always appreciate your support.
