LoopMe Hires Jason Baadsgaard & Mel Bessaha to Accelerate US Expansion

Senior hires follow $17m funding for the AI-driven mobile platform.

LoopMe announced today the appointment of Jason Baadsgaard as General Manager North America, and Mel Bessaha as SVP Sales North America, as the platform continues to grow its business in the US.

NY 27/11/2018: LoopMe, which recently announced $17m funding to fuel its US expansion, specializes in using data and AI to optimize mobile campaigns to real-world outcomes, such as purchase intent, foot traffic or sales. The hires are the first to be made since the funding round was completed.

A champion of outcome-driven marketing, Baadsgaard has a proven track record at growing business in the US market. He joined Dotomi in 2009, taking the business through to acquisition by Conversant, growing sales to $200m before it was subsequently acquired by Alliance Data Systems. Baadsgaard went on to join Eyeview as CRO where he increased revenue by 250% over three years. In his role as LoopMe GM North America, Baadsgaard will be responsible for leading the US business and continuing to extend its rapid growth.

Mel Bessaha joins as SVP Sales North America, having previously held senior sales leadership positions at Dailymotion and AdColony (formerly Opera Mediaworks) during their rapid global expansion. At LoopMe, Bessaha will be responsible for introducing LoopMe’s platform to new brands, as well as deepening relationships with existing customers.
