Renowned filmmaker Spike Jonze had a lucrative start to his career – specialising in incredibly well executed pieces that made no attempt to conform to expectations – often undermining or subverting trends and leaving a lasting impression on consumers. If advertisers sometimes think outside the box, then Spike Jonze likes to think outside the idea of thinking – everything is to be interrogated, questioned and prodded.
