Teresa Midolo: Employee Spotlight

Tell us a bit about yourself:

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I was always creative and knew I wanted to pursue a career in art, which led me to the beautiful campus of Pratt Institute. I graduated in 2017 with a Fine Arts degree in Digital Arts/ 3D Animation. When I’m not working I enjoy biking, trying new restaurants, and going to movies and shows.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe?

LoopMe is the first full time job I had after graduation. It has given me the opportunity to work with a great creative team on cool ads that are seen by millions of people. This job has opened my eyes to a whole new side of design (UI/UX) and has helped me develop a path for my future. I’m learning so much about advertising and am grateful to be part of such an amazing company so early on in my career.

What’s your job role and day to day responsibilities?

As a Visual UI/UX Designer, I work on the rich media units at LoopMe. The majority of my time is spent designing and animating mockups for RFPs and working on campaign builds. The creative team develops the look and user flow of the ad to make it both visually appealing and meet the campaign’s goals. It is always fun to come up with concepts for the new tech that the creative and development team work on together.

What’s been the best moment at LoopMe?

The best moments at LoopMe are when you see an original mockup for an RFP transition into a campaign that shows great performance. For example, the New Balance unit was the first US campaign to use the camera (yay!) and performed so well it led to more business.

The monthly CS team outings are also a lot of fun! There have been so many great ones like karaoke and BATSU! I’m always excited to see what we will do next…

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I danced competitively for 10 years, and even went backstage with the Rockettes to learn some of their moves! 🙂
