Employee Spotlight: Kerry O’Dorisio

Tell us a bit about yourself

I was born and raised in Orange County, California and moved to LA after college. I started my career in film marketing at 20th Century Fox followed by four years spent living in Dallas, Texas where I worked in Sales for FOX Sports Southwest, YuMe and Xaxis before returning home to California to work for LoopMe.

Why did you decide to join LoopMe? 

There were a few reasons for joining LoopMe. First, I was excited that I would get to start working in an office that was brand new. I would be able to be there from the beginning and see the growth and effort pay off.

Second, LoopMe’s technology really blew me away. After working for other companies in the industry, it was evident that LoopMe’s AI was a huge differentiator in the marketplace and it truly worked which was the largest selling point for me.

Lastly, it was the people of LoopMe. I worked with Devin, Spencer and Carlos while I was at YuMe and knew I was joining a great team and it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!

What’s your job role and day to day responsibilities?

I am an Account Executive in the Los Angeles office. My job is to prospect and close new business and re-sign existing campaigns with LoopMe throughout the West region. My territory is Los Angeles (divided with Meredith and David) along with San Francisco and Texas.

For new business, I spend majority of my time researching agency teams and contacts, reaching out and setting and attending meetings with agency teams to share LoopMe’s capabilities and close business. For existing business, I work with predominantly with Dan, Amanda and Alex on maintaining live campaigns, handling communication with clients and entertaining agency teams. This is to build relationships and rapport so they feel comfortable trusting me and LoopMe with their client’s advertising dollars and are confident we will successfully deliver on campaigns.

What’s been the best moment at LoopMe so far?

I would have to say that it was agreeing a partnership with one of the biggest TV broadcasters in the United States, promoting the latest series of their hit television show. It was a new agency and new campaign, so that was extremely rewarding.

Tell us an interesting fact about you? 

I have four plastic springs and eight titanium screws in my back.
