Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m originally from Wiltshire and studied History at the University of York. I did some work experience in content and communications and got an internship in marketing at Teads. I ended up staying for 2 years, first as a Marketing Assistant and then Marketing Executive, I got to work on some really cool projects and with some great people.
Outside of LoopMe I’m a new member of the IAA UK marketing committee, I’ve run 3 half marathons, with more planned for 2019 and can be found tweeting @ellepanes about my dog and equality in media and advertising.
Why did you decide to join LoopMe?
I wanted to be part of a company where I could be part of their growth story. I had heard good things about LoopMe in the market and thought that PurchaseLoop, which had just launched, was a unique product. I think I joined at exactly the right time and it’s amazing to see the company grow from strength to strength.
What’s your job role and day to day responsibilities?
My job is quite diverse, so could involve creating material for a product announcement, awards entries or preparing educational presentations. Most recent projects have included our AI Award, Nonference and Huddle presentations and Closing the Loop.
I get to work with different teams all around the world and there’s always something interesting going on, especially as there are so many developments going on in AI generally and at LoopMe.
I also try and enforce a Mamma Mia power hour on the speakers weekly, but this is often overruled by the other 60 people in the office.
What’s been the best moment at LoopMe?
At the LoopMe 5 party I accidentally hosted an after party in my room for pretty much the entire UK office.
Professionally, another highlight was collecting PurchaseLoop’s first award at the Digiday Awards. There’s a photo of me somewhere clutching the box manically. Since then the awards have kept rolling in!
There have been so many good moments here, we have a great culture and lots of opportunities to try new things.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I’m extremely distantly related to George Clooney through my mum’s family in Ireland!
